Whichever way you spell it, crape (scientific version) or crepe (Southern), crepe myrtles are in full bloom around here. Well, except for our bush, which has barely eked out two tiny blossoms. While at my my doctor appointment this AM, I had a loooong while to read others’ blogs. I always enjoy Cee’s spectacular flowers. I remember clicking “like” on her photographs when I first started writing online. Cee’s flower post today encouraged me to snap these crepe myrtle blossoms on my way to the parking lot.
Beautiful crepes. 😀

Very beautiful. If the word is written: crêpe, then it is French and means pancake. 🙂
Happy weekend!
